WRAD 91.5 FM is, the most important thing to happen to the Jacksonville scene in ten years.

A silent curtain has been erected keeping artists and the underground from those who would most benefit from being a part of the scene.

Jacksonville Artists deserve to be heard and Jacksonville's people deserve to be able to hear them.

Project Solidarity

Local bands should come together to exchange road stories, to share advice, and to be refreshed in knowing that they are not alone, and not burn out.

A Union. No dues. Only members. No "networking." Only people who love music talking with each other.

I want bands to meet and understand how talented and big the local scene is.

We've got to get organized

One only looks to the South by Southwest Festival to see that all type of bands and all type of fans can get together and create something great. I'm not proposing a festival, but at S x SW, you see metal heads going to Indie rock shows, Indie kids going to punk shows, and punks going to punk shows. No matter how diverse Jacksonville's band's genres, we CAN come together and learn (and drink beer).

Along with the vanguard radio station of Jacksonville, WRAD 91.5 FM, The Joy of Godzilla aims to strengthen local and underground musicians.

I want to pull back the blinds and let the public hear the music that has lived in the club of Jacksonville for decades, but also, I want to not just help the listeners, but the makers of music.
