--What is this foolishness?

It's the new show on WRAD, "The Joy of Godzilla."



--What's it about? The answer is yes. That's the best explanation. I love music. I love politics. I love expression. I love a lot of things. It's the joy of Godzilla. It will have music; It may evolve into a local music outlet [More on "Project Solidarity" later] (WRAD IS THE NEXUS of MEANINGFULL EXPRESSION. Join us!). I may host such guests as city council members, civic activists, pastors/ rabbis/ mullahs, average citizens from other countries: all bringing fresh perspectives to Jacksonville's tired air-waves.

Fun. Silliness. Hard hitting commentaries. Journalism. Music that you'll NEVER hear otherwise.

AND I"M BRINGING PUNK ROCK TO THE AIR WAVES!!!

The Americans with Disability Act. I have a special one that's super big. I'm also practicing telekinesis, so that I can use any computer and do live WRAD shows.



---Do you speak Japanese?

No, I know English and Spanish. Let me explain . . I learned about WRAD a long time ago. I had so swim from Japan and all the way around South America. I had to live off of whales and kelp. I would pick the whale ups and they would be like "AHHHHH!" Whales do scream. I heard them. Then would just toss them into my mouth. I learned Spanish while I was in South America. I finally made it to Jacksonville.



---Why didn't you walk through California?

The paperwork would kill me. They think that "immigration" is a bad word.



----If cigarettes cause cancer, what causes Capricorn?

One and a half pounds of butter. ---Are you afriad that listeners might get lost? There are silly parts of the show and then there are very serious parts. DO you think that its a bit muddled?

I belive that people are smart enough to see what is fun and foolish and what it fun and serious. After all, where is joy without being a little wild, stealing a moment in time like weekend lovers?

---How did you really learn about WRAD 91.5 FM?

I was walking down the sidewalk in Five Points and I saw a poster. I read it. At that time, it was on a differnt frequency. It was (and still is) sweet. I listend that night. I turned it on, to hear some music that I never heard before. It was The Worm and he was washing dishes. That's WRAD. DIY. Real people. Real music.



---How can I get my music on your show?

Drop a CD or Tape in the drop box in Smash Music (inside Caribian Connection)in Five Points. I alway want your flyers to anounce upcomming shows. Poetry, short essays, and opinion pieces are cool too. They have to meet WRAD's 4 rules though (I can edit out cussing, but it means that your stuff woun't get played as much.



---Do you hate censoring stuff?

YES!!!! I hate it!! But... WRAD policy is right. WRAD 91.5 FM is a great orgnization doing good things. I would never compromise their integrity. I respect thier aim to bring great music to the air that everyone can enjoy. BUT I DO HATE CENSORSHIP!
